What happens in Argentina, clearly doesn't stay in Argentina…especially for the Biebs.
The popstar really can't catch a legal break this year. According to MSN, Justin was just indicted for allegedly instructing his security team to beat up a paparazzi and jack his camera and cash. Despite a less than perfect track record, the young star has maintained his innocence claiming that this is all a money scheme orchestrated by a thirsty judge in Buenos Aires. In a classic court case timeline, this incident occurred in 2013, but naturally the consequences are hitting just in time for 2017-casual.
Bieber was ordered to return to the scene of the crime-Buenos Aires-a year after the OG incident in 2014. However, the celeb was fashionably late forever style AKA he never showed. Oooh burn Argentina! You got ghosted by the Biebs. Anyway, the country and court was super salty about this ghosting so they issued a warrant in 2015 for Justin's arrest should he ever step foot in Argentina again.
The return of this case, four short years later, comes at a particularly bad time as the singer is currently gearing up for the South American leg of his 'Purpose' Tour. Rest easy Beliebers! Justin's lawyers have a plan to appeal the indictment and prove that these allegations are mere fiction.
Until then, Justin is indeed banned from Argentina. The star has even tweeted his condolences to his Argentinian Beliebers, throwing shade at the government and apologizing for his inability to bring his jams to his fans. On Monday the star took to twitter to share his condolences writing:
"Argentinian beliebers I would like nothing more than to bring the #purposetour there but the Argentinian government won't allow it. So sorry."
He continued in a twitter rant tweeting:
"If things were to change I would love to come but at this time I cannot. For everyone else in South America I look forward to seeing you."
"Argentina I do love you," Bieber added. "It is in fact one of my favorite places to tour. I wish this was not the case. My lawyers say it is what it is."
"Argentinian beliebers I would like nothing more than to bring the #purposetour there but until the legal conditions change there I can't."
Sorry Justin and Argentina. The law is just SO annoying!
