My Experience with Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Ampoule:
When I first started searching for Korean skincare products, two products were frequently surfacing and they were this Night Repair Borabit Ampoule and the First treatment essence by Missha. Since they were on the pricier side compared to the usual Korean skincare prices, I decided to get the samples first. I loved them, and I had bought the full size ones.
My advice for all will be to try out sample products before splurging. Now, this ampoule is touted as the dupe of the famous Estee Lauder Night Repair. This even has a similar name as all!
The ingredients list of this ampoule is very long and it must contain atleast 50 ingredients! But, the main ingredient in this is Bifida Ferment Lysate and this is where this ampoule is similar to the Estee Lauder one. The rest all ingredients do not play much role other than cramping up the space in the outer carton.
This ampoule is mainly advised for dullness and anti-aging care. I started using this because, the winter was approaching and my skin looked lustreless and very dull. Also, I wanted to start using an anti-aging product because the earlier the better!
This product comes in a sturdy glass bottle which is purple in colour. The lower half of the bottle is a little transparent and it will be helpful in seeing the quantity left in the bottle. The bottle also comes with a dropper and for a single use, half of the dropper will be enough.
The product is peachy in colour. It is viscous in consistency and it takes a while to get absorbed. The ampoule has a mild fragrance and it smells like ginseng, which is a very earthy smell. As soon as I apply, I can feel the coolness it gives. It dries to a silky finish and the face gets a smooth appearance and glows immediately. To put it simply, my face looks like as if I had applied a primer.
Whatever dryness and dullness my skin had previously went away immediately, and you can understand how smitten I was right from the first usage. I usually use this only at night because, I feel it might be heavy for my daytime use. I use this along with my other skincare routine products and the next day, my skin retains the effect and looks soft and plumped! What more could I ask for?
One thing I have noticed is that it works differently for each person. Some of my friends tried the serum too, and not all had a good result. For some, it caused breakouts and for some, it was just not doing anything. You have to be sure that it will work for you before buying.
My skin type is combination which will be dry in winters, and it is acne-prone too. It worked so well for me and it is my HG serum. This has become a must in my routine. Overall, this product works so well and it has 50 ml, which will last for many months. Thus, money well-spent!
